Daddy and Georgie
While you are sick, totally brings you back to those first few weeks of taking care of a newborn. I woke up last night, sick and I felt exhausted as I went to feed Georgie. My eyes were dry, throat scratchy and I generally felt like poo.
I felt like it was the first night we brought him home and I was struggling through those countless feedings at all hours of the night. I could only imagine if I was sill breastfeeding him, how more exhausted I would be.
It was horrible.
But Georgie nodded off like a little angel afterwards and didn’t give the slightest fuss. I was very grateful.
We had our first social outing last weekend. (Very late on my blog entry) I went well. The only issue I had was that because it was a quince anos, the dj was very loud and the music was too much for georgie and I at one point. I took him outside in his stroller and rocked him to sleep and he stayed that way until we got home at 10:30. But he did well and all his cousins and tia’s pawwed all over him the whole time.
He is quite the charmer and he rewarded all of them with his drooly smiles.
The next morning we got up and captured the cutest picture with his daddy and we went to Denny’s. Georgie was also hungry and demanded his breakfast. It was a nice morning and I feel more confident everytime we go out with him.
